Keith D. Andrews, age 83 of Plymouth

Our gracious Savior Jesus called Keith home to his eternal rest on Thursday morning (April 12th) at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility where he had been a resident for the past year. He was born on February 23, 1929 in the Town of Plymouth, WI, a son of the late Richard and Ethel Nichols Andrews. Keith attended Plymouth Public Schools. He served in the United States National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1950. On October 18, 1952, he married Marilyn Rose Wapp in Plymouth. The couple resided in Plymouth after their marriage. She preceded him in death on April 13, 1988. Keith worked at Borden’s, Inc., in Plymouth for 40 years, retiring in 1991. He also owned/operated the KA Campgrounds for 45 years. On September 7, 1990, he married Lila Ninneman Christensen in Glenbeulah, WI. The couple resided in Plymouth since their marriage. Keith was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah and was a lifetime member of the EAA and the North American Hunting Association. He also served as a part-time Deputy for the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department and was a former member of the Rhine Field and Stream Sportsman’s Club and the Elkhart Lake Lion’s Club. He enjoyed hunting, skiing, fishing, tree trimming, making maple syrup and wine. In his younger days, he enjoyed stock car racing and ski jumping. Survivors include his wife: Lila of Plymouth, Four Children: Jason (Lois) Andrews of Plymouth, Brian (Vicki) Andrews of Sheboygan, Renee (Jeffrey) Schmidt of Elkhart Lake, Todd (Donna) Andrews of Brookings, SD Nine Grandchildren: Mitchell (Jeni) Andrews of Plymouth, Ryan (Erin) Andrews of North Fond du Lac, Tanya (Tom) Cudworth of Greenbush, Nathan (Julie) Andrews of Whitefish Bay, WI, Jennifer (Dennis) Law of Columbus, WI, Amanda (Josh) Hansen of Howards Grove, Joshua Schmidt (Fiancé: Erica Schweikert) of Coon Rapids, MN Nicholas Andrews of Rapid City, SD Kayla Andrews of Brookings, SD Eleven Great Grandchildren Six Step Sons, Two Step Daughters, Eighteen Step Grandchildren and Six Step Great Grandchildren One Brother-in-law: Edgar Theyerl of Fond du Lac. Also survived by other Brothers and Sisters-in law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Bert and Lance, 1 sister: Jean and one sister-in-law: Dorie Theyerl.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday Afternoon (April 16th) at 2:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Don Johnson, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah, will officiate. Burial will be in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Monday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services. The Ladewig-Zinkgraf American Legion Post # 243 will conduct military rites at the cemetery following the committal services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Keith’s name.
